About this task

Use the holes in the three mounting clips for wall mount applications.

To mount the BACnet Router on a vertical surface:

Procedure

  1. Ensure that all three mounting clips are inserted into the back of the BACnet Router housing, pulled outward, and snapped firmly into the extended positions (Figure 1).
  2. Mark the location of the three wall mount holes using the dimensions in Figure 1, or hold the BACnet Router up to the wall as a template and mark the locations.
  3. Drill holes in the wall at the locations marked in Figure 1 and insert wall anchors (if necessary).

  4. Position the BACnet Router, insert the screws through the holes in the mounting clips, and carefully tighten the screws.
    Important: Do not overtighten the mounting screws. Overtightening the screws may damage the mounting clips or the BACnet Router housing.
