You can configure the binary control loop strategy as an analog to binary or as a binary interlock. Different options appear depending on the configuration chosen.
To configure the control loop, complete the following steps:
- Enable the unit: .
- Enable the control loop: .
- Select the control loop strategy: .
- Configure the selected control loop strategy. For more information, see the relevant section:
Configuring the analog to binary strategy
The analog to binary strategy compares an analog input source with configured limits, and determines the binary output state. You can select the analog input source and you can define the low limit, high limit, and the comparator mode.
- Navigate to .
- Select one of the following inputs: SAB based sensor, wired AI sensor, or network shared sensor.
- Configure the comparator mode.
- Configure the low limit and high limit.
For the full list of parameters and their details, see Table 33.
Configuring the binary interlock strategy
You can use the binary interlock strategy to control a binary output state according to a binary input state. You can also override the binary output state.
- Navigate to .
- Configure the interlock mode, select a binary input, and configure the delay
type and the delay times.Note: In control mode, the binary output changes its state according to the selected binary input.
For the full list of parameters and their details, see Table 34.
