Important: A supervisory controller reports an offline alarm in a fixed period of time when an associated field controller goes offline. For a hard-wired field controller, this time period is usually 20 seconds. For a wireless-enabled field controller within the ZFR183x Pro Series Wireless Field Bus system, this time period can be as much as five minutes.

The FX80 and SNC are web-enabled, Ethernet-based, supervisory controllers that connect BAS networks to IP networks and the web. Supervisory controllers provide scheduling, alarm and event management, trending, energy management, data exchange, dial-out capability, and password protection.

Supervisory controllers interface with field controllers on a ZFR Pro Network through a WRG Gateway. Depending on the capacity of the device, it can support up to eight WRG Gateways. The WRG can also report to the FX Server on a PC over BACnet IP.

Note: Maximum COV across all trunks (MS/TP and Ethernet) cannot exceed maximum supported by the engine
Note: Cannot exceed maximum number of devices per trunk
Note: Maximum COV across all trunks (MS/TP and Ethernet) cannot exceed maximum supported by the engine
Note: Cannot exceed maximum number of devices per trunk
Note: Use all maximum values specified in this table as best practice design guidelines. Exceeding these values in any one feature may limit other features and may cause a negative impact on the performance and online reliability of the system
