We recommend that you mount the controller and all option modules on a 35 mm wide DIN rail. Mounting on a DIN rail ensures accurate alignment of connectors between all modules. As an alternate to DIN rail mounting, you can use the tabs on the controller or module for panel mounting.
Important: Remove all power from the controller before attaching (plug in) or detaching
(unplug) any option card module, to prevent possible equipment damage.
