Procedure

  1. In FX Workbench, from the Tools menu, click Certificate Management > User Key Store.
  2. Click New.
  3. In the Generate Self Signed Certificate window, complete the following required fields:
    • Alias
    • Common Name (CN)
    • Organization (O)
    • Country Code (C)
    Note: Match the Organization (O) and Country Code (C) details with the CA you created previously.
  4. From the Not Before and Not After calendar, select the date and time when you want the certificate to be valid for. It is best practice to choose the Not Before date as one day earlier than required.
  5. In the Certificate Usage area, click Code Signing.
  6. Click OK.
  7. In the Private Key Password window, create and confirm a password for the certificate. Click OK.
  8. To export the CSR, in the User Key Store tab, select the CSR you created. Click Cert Request. Click OK. Enter the CSR password.
  9. Save the CSR in the same folder as the CA.
