Network Ping |
Wireless node function in the network |
Network pings provide a means of physically locating connected devices. There are two methods with different use cases: 1) Use FX-ZFR Checkout Tool (FX-ZCT) to ping an address. This LED on the connected FX-ZFR1811 to blink, indicating the device mapped to that specific MS/TP address 2) Press the Occupancy pushbutton on a FX-WRZ Network Sensor. This causes the blinking response on the FX-ZFR1811 connected to the paired device. This can be used to validate switch settings on the sensor during installation. |
1 The Signal Strength LEDs on all the FX-ZFR1811 Routers in a network extinguish after approximately 2 hours or normal operation, making the FX-ZFR1811 less distracting when installed in an open area. To re-enable the FX-ZFR1811 LEDs for troubleshooting purposes, perform a scan using the FX-ZCT or push the Status Push Button on the FX-ZFR1810 Coordinator.
