When the sensor must be temporarily stored away from the bed, we recommend locating the temperature room sensor on the head wall system near where the tethered cable is anchored. This can be accomplished with two different methods.
Hook storage
Secure a hook that can support the weight of the sensor on the wall (Figure 7). Place the opening of the loop of the tethered cable on the hook. You can purchase the hook from a hardware or office supply store.
Holder storage
Secure a holder that can support the weight of the sensor on a wall (Figure 8). Make sure the holder is the proper size (approximately 7-3/4 x 4-3/8 x 3-1/4 in. [19.6 x 10.7 x 8.2 cm]) and style to securely cradle the temperature room sensor. You can purchase the holder from a hardware or office supply store such as Office Depot (item 447534) or Office Max (item 20031877).
