The Autocall Fire Site Administrator computer is the server on a Autocall Fire Site Administrator fire network. A remote client connects to the Autocall Fire Site Administrator server over https. See the following sections for more information.

The Autocall Fire Site Administrator computer

The Autocall Fire Site Administrator computer runs the following software:
  • Autocall Fire Site Administrator server
  • Autocall Fire Site Administrator configurator
You require a software license to access the software.

Remote clients

You can access Autocall Fire Site Administrator from a supervised remote client or an unsupervised remote client.
  • A supervised remote client runs Autocall Fire Site Administrator client software on a Windows computer on the same https network as the Autocall Fire Site Administrator computer. If a supervised remote client disconnects, Autocall Fire Site Administrator indicates a trouble.
  • An unsupervised remote client is a device that runs any operating system (OS) with an up-to-date Chrome® browser. An unsupervised remote client has view-only Autocall Fire Site Administrator functionality.

Some Autocall Fire Site Administrator features are inaccessible from a remote device. You can use the Autocall Fire Site Administrator configurator to select the options you require. Refer to Autocall Fire Site Administrator Configurator User Guide (A163832WTD).

Remote client connections

The Autocall Fire Site Administrator server supports a maximum of 60 remote clients that are online simultaneously. You can configure remote clients to connect to a backup server in the event of loss of connection to the primary server. This improves network redundancy.

ES Net support for redundancy on ES Net loops

With the latest ES Net card firmware you can use PanelNet class X, redundancy, when a Autocall Fire Site Administrator node is present.

TCP/IP networks

The minimum required connection speed for connecting a Autocall Fire Site Administrator server or remote client to a TCP/IP local area network is 3 Mbps.

Anti-virus software

The Autocall Fire Site Administrator is compatible with the following anti-virus software:
  • CrowdStrike Windows Sensor 7.29.20108.0
  • McAfee™ Total Protection version 16.0 R120 and above
  • Norton™ 360 Deluxe version 22.24.5.6 and above
Install anti-virus software protection on any Autocall Fire Site Administrator computer or remote client computer on a non-dedicated TCP/IP fire alarm network. Ensure that you update the anti-virus software regularly.

Filtering external points on supervised clients

You can filter the points that a supervised remote client or supervised third-party client receives over TCP/IP. You can create different filters for each supervised client. You can filter by the following methods:
  • By provider: Filter points by list, node, or account.
  • By device class: Filter points by device class.
  • By alarm category: Filter points by alarm category.

To configure filtering, use the TCP/IP interface settings in the Autocall Fire Site Administrator configurator. For details, refer to Autocall Fire Site Administrator Configurator User Guide (A163832WRA).
